Enlarged spleen with lymphoma?

I posted a question the other day regarding lymphoma. I have enlarged lymph nodes in my neck and an enlarged spleen. My doctor has scheduled some tests, but I've been doing some reading and am now confused by what the enlarged spleen could mean. If I have lymphoma does the enlarged spleen mean the lymphoma has progressed to the spleen (another region) or can the enlarged spleen be symptomatic of having lymphoma with no cancerous tumors or nodes?
